Good news from the internationally acclaims Getac Technology Corporation rugged products again! Both the Getac PS236 and PS535 won the Computex Taipei design & innovation Award organized by iF International Forum Design GmbH and Computex Taipei, becoming one of the most attractive products of Computex Taipei.
According to Getac Technology Corporation GM Ming-han Huang, ‘The PS236 and PS535 are the pioneering products for Getac to enter the applied GIS (geographic information system) domain. It is an exceptional honor for both products to win the award. This indicates that the rugged handheld design capacity of Getac Technology Corporation is approved by judges both at home and abroad. In addition to this award, the PS236 has won the Best Choice Award of Computex Taipei, marking out the design excellence of Getac Technology Corporation rugged handhelds has won the unanimous acclaim of judges, and making them the products that lead technology innovation.'
A perfect choice for applied GIS, the Getac fully rugged PS535 is equipped with a high-sensitivity GPS receiver, electronic compass, altimeter and 3.0 megapixels AF camera. The Getac PS535F is equipped with built-in WLAN and Bluetooth to ensure unrestricted real-time data transfer. The PS535 is embedded with 2GB NAND flash and supports SD cards of up to 16GB to provide processing and storage capacity of a large amount of data. Additionally, the PS535F is equipped with a durable battery lasted for 8 hours of operations to effectively solve the power supply problem concerned most users. This world's smallest mini rugged PDA smartly integrates all user demands to demonstrate the best performance in the most critical environment.
The Getac PS236 is the first fully rugged handheld to pass the MIL-STD-810G military certification and comes equipped with the high-speed HSDPA wireless LAN function. Craftily integrated with a high-sensitivity GPS receiver, electronic compass, altimeter and 3.0 megapixel AF camera, the Getac PS236 is a total solution for users. The RS232 serial port and USB OTG equipped on the Getac PS236 have increased the handheld's compatibility and flexibility for comprehensive industrial applications. The PS236 is embedded with 4GB NAND flash and supports SDHC cards of up to 16GB to provide processing and storage capacity of a large amount of data. Additionally, the PS236 comes with two optional keyboards: a number keyboard and PDA keyboard, to meet the needs of different users.
