(October 11 2013, Taipei, Taiwan) — Mio, a subsidiary of MiTAC International Corp., will showcase its comprehensive range of products, including a new series of drive video recorder (DVR), the Mio MiVue 5 series; personal Wi-Fi data device, the MiLink series; and professional tablets for medical and warehouse environment, the MioWORK series at the 2013 Hong Kong Electric Fair (Autumn Edition).
On the heels of the enthusiastically received MiVue 388, Mio is pleased to introduce our latest DVR product – the MiVue 5 series. The new 5 series features a full touch-screen (MiVue 558 and MiVue 568), giving drivers an intuitive and user-friendly recording experience. The cutting-edge design makes the device familiar to anyone who has used as a tablet or smartphone. The touch-screen interface allows users have a clear view of what is being recorded while the device is operating.
The MiVue 5 series also continues to feature a 360°-rotating camera, G-sensor, GPS tracking and speed-cam functions - standard for a high-end DVR product. All this makes the MiVue the smart choice for an industry leading drive video recorder.
With the MiLink series, the Mio joins the mobile cloud drive revolution. The series includes two different device sizes: an on-the-go Mobile Wireless Drive and a Home Network Storage System. Users can choose the unit that best suits their personal needs. MiLink 300 and 700 are easy to setup by simply scanning the barcode on each device. Gone are the days of paying subscription fees and configuring IP settings and Internet connections.
The MiLink series is designed for both iOS and Android devices with free apps available for all platforms. Users can connect up to 5 devices simultaneously with built-in Wi-Fi, while sharing files stored on the hard drive and accessing the Internet.
In addition, the MiLink 300 functions as a mobile power supply. In one simple step, users can connect the mobile device to MiLink 300 and charge anywhere on the go.
Mio professional tablets, MioWORK A100 and A105, are the perfect fit for the warehouse work space. Both are IP54-rated for water-resistance and certified to be up to one meter drop-resistant. Furthermore, they are designed for one-hand use with a built-in 1D and 2D barcode scanner, integrating barcode and QR code reader functionality.
For easy handling, Mio provides a one-unit cradle/six-unit cradle suited to any working environment. The MioWORK A series offers a better solution for inputting and cataloging products and managing warehouse data.
