The US government has also announced the accelerated introduction of Windows 10 in order to standardize computer systems used by the government, which demonstrates the importance and necessity for ensuring information security. Both the V110 and F110 are capable of providing the highest performance; they come equipped with Intel® Core™i5-6200U 2.3GHz (2.8GHz) or Core™ i7-6500U 2.5GHz (3.1GHz) sixth generation processors. Government agencies and major corporations can choose between the Intel® vPro™ i5 or i7 processors to achieve remote management, enhance productivity, and ensure that computers and wireless networks are protected against data breaches.

The built-in Intel® dual band Wireless AC-8260 supports 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2 to provide smooth wireless connections. The Intel® HD Graphics 520 graphics card paired with a dual-lens design greatly enhances on-site evidence collection and image processing capabilities. In addition, Getac’s exclusive LifeSupport™ hot-swappable battery design ensures uninterrupted productivity; rugged features include the use of MIL-STD 810G and MIL-STD 461F military standards, IP65 for water/dust resistance, protection against falling damage (up to 4 ft.), operating temperature range from -21°c to 60°c, as well as the e-Mark vehicle safety certification.

Both the V110 and F110 feature 11.6-inch capacitive multi-touch screens, which are equipped with Getac 800-nit LumiBond® 2.0 technology for clear visibility under bright lights; these screens also feature multiple touch modes including rain, glove, stylus, and digitizer. The brand new hard-tip stylus offers more precision with smooth strokes. Moreover, to increase versatility, a variety of options are available; the V110 offers RFID and a fingerprint reader (optional), while the F110 offers RFID, a fingerprint reader, a smart card reader, or a magnetic swipe card reader (optional).
