(August 21st 2017, Taipei, Taiwan) MiTAC Holdings Corporation (MHC,TWSE: 3706) and Infopower Technologies Ltd. (Infopower) today announced a definitive agreement in which MHC will invest in Infopower and becoming one of its largest shareholders. Infopower’s manufacturing plant is located in Noida, India, it is ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949 certified and UL approved. It engages in the fabrication of PCB, PCBA and electronic products. MHC is expanding its electronics manufacturing aiming to gain a foothold in the Indian market.
On the trend of IoT, auto electronics and digital algorithm, MHC paves its way into the Indian market by investing in sales, R&D and manufacturing. The synergy of this strategic investment will bring diversification and growth to our business in India’s electronic business sector which Inforpower has PCB, PCBA and system assembly capability and MHC provides the technology, products and manufacturing of embedded computing, POS and auto electronics. This investment estimated to complete by the end of September 2017.
