Synnex Technology International Corporation Ranked Top Ninth Interbrand in Taiwan Again in 2010

According to the Taiwan Interbrand Value Survey 2010 conducted by the internationally renowned valuator Interbrand, Synnex Technology International Corporation was ranked the top ninth interbrand in Taiwan again, which was the only IT product logistics brand among the top 20 brands. With a brand value worth US$267 million (approx. NTD8.794 billion), Synnex Technology International Corporation created a growth by 8.2% higher than the combined growth of all top 20 brands.

The Taiwan Interbrand Value Survey 2010 was organized by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs; implemented by Taiwan External Trade Development Council; and performed by Business Next and world-leading brand consulting company Interbrand. The results were announced at the Taipei International Convention Centre on September 14, with prizes presented by the ROC Vice President Vincent Wan-chang Siew. Since the survey was organized in 2003, Synnex Technology International Corporation has been selected as a Taiwan interbrand for eight consecutive years.

According to Interbrand, Taiwanese brands have done a great job in the past year, and the success in cultivating the BRIIC emerging markets, including Brazil, Russia, India, Indonsia and China, is the key to success. Synnex Technology International Corporation is the brand that has demonstrated great success in the BRIIC countries.

The same brand valuation system adopted by Business Weekly in the World's Top 100 Brands was used in the survey. According to Interbrand, the brand's ability to seek long-term and stable profits for its enterprise, or ‘future profit' of brand, is a key indicator. Therefore, the performance and potential in finance, brand role and brand strength were the foci of survey. This suggests that Synnex Technology International Corporation is globally competitive in financial stability, brand effect on purchase, and brand opportunity and risk in profit creation.

At present, Synnex Technology International Corporation has sales locations in Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Australia, Thailand and other countries. Along with its investments in the USA, Canada, India, the Middle East and Africa, Synnex Technology International Corporation has sales locations in 181 leading cities across 29 countries. In 2009, these global locations created combined revenue of NT$220.7 billion. Along with the re-investments, the operating revenues of Synnex Technology International Corporation's global operations were NT$587.3 billion.
