Taipei, Taiwan and San Francisco, CA, USA April 7, 2011 – Taipei-based MiTAC Information Technology Corp. and San Francisco-based Joyent, Inc. today announced a strategic alliance agreement through which the two companies will cooperate to develop and deliver cloud computing services and solutions for ICT (Information and Communication Technology) system integration projects in Taiwan and the greater Asian market.
MiTAC and Joyent will cooperate to provide comprehensive, competitive public cloud products to governmental organizations, and private and hybrid cloud capabilities to large enterprises by making use of MiTAC's powerful systems integration and consulting expertise and Joyent's robust cloud computing software. According to the agreement, Joyent's cloud computing software will be introduced to MiTAC's prospects and customers in both the public and private.
