New AIO Series Provides Easy TV and Auto Charge Functions for Mobile Device

In addition to the Maestro 650, which MiTAC launched in 2011, the new Maestro 750 AIO provides our users an array of options. The Maestro 750 not only retains the product series' advantages of easy customization, cost savings and high performance, but it adds easy TV functionality and well as the ability to charge mobile devices. Easy TV allows users to connect to TV mode without booting up Windows, providing a quick and convenient way to access programming. Maestro 750 also has a simple USB ‘quick charge' function for charging 3C products without power on the AIO device. Unlike traditional USB ports, the device provides faster charging speed for mobile devices.

In addition to its new AIO products, MiTAC is also pleased to announce its latest STB model – Galaxy 200. The all-new Galaxy 200, running the AMD Fusion G-Series CPU platform, incorporates APU speedup, DirectX 11 and UVD 3.0 graphic functionality to handle even the most complex digital image intense processing. With its PC-based Internet backbone infrastructure, the Galaxy 200 is enabled to conveniently run either a Microsoft® or Linux operating system (OS). This provides the Galaxy 200 with the added benefit of handling multi-format decoding and encoding for a host of multimedia applications and file formats. It also delivers a true Internet experience beyond the handful of Web capabilities seen on similar devices. In addition to Internet TV programs, the Galaxy 200's TV tuner is capable of accessing a wide range of programming — including terrestrial and satellite TV — on a single device. With the successful launch of its award winning Valar tablet in 2011 (IF Design and Taiwan Best Choice award winner), MiTAC is proud to announce the release of the new 7” Ulmo tablet. With a thickness of only 16.8mm, the Ulmo is the world's thinnest 7” LCD touch screen tablet. Even with its elegant and slim design, the Ulmo is ready to take on the bumps and knocks of todays on the go mobile working environment style. To meet this mobile working environment style, Ulmo is shock and drop resistance from a height of 1 meter. The unit is also waterproof and can be submerged up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. In 2011, MiTAC cooperated with Yang-Ming University to introduce the world's first tablet designed specifically for medical professionals—MioCARE.
